 8:00 am Registration: Leilehua will run the check in of students within each
school and assign or allow students to pick workshops. Maximum
number of students per group will be determined by total number
of students registering.
 8:30 am Opening of Discover Hawaii Workshop

 8:45 am Icebreakers – Castle High School
 9:15 am Student Opportunities in Volunteerism displays and presentations by
* The Nature Conservancy of Hawai`i
Amber O’Reilley, Service Learning Coordinator
* The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources
Matthew Ramsey and John Leong
* Sierra Club : Representative
* Hawaii Service Trip Project: John Cummings /Nohea Thomas
Elementary School Cafeteria next to Kalama.
 9:45 am Introduction of Workshops and presenters
Each school will bring two leis for presentors and guests.
 10:00 am Dismiss the participants to workshops (Check posters for
workshop location.)
 10:15 am– 11:00 am Workshop Session I
 11:00 am -11:15 am Morning snacks by Campbell High School
 11:15 am – noon Workshop Session II
 Noon Lunch at Kalama Dining Hall. (bring your own!)
(Presentor’s lunches provided by Farrington High School )

creator of Youth for Environmental Service)

 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Group games by Castle High School on Lower Field
 2:30 pm Evaluation by Moanalua High School back at Kalama Dining Hall
 2:45 pm Clean up – all schools led by Hui Lama o Kamehameha
 3:00 pm PAU!
